Jim said that you and he have been friends for years. This is really hard to believe and very sad indeed. Can you share any information about his passing or refer us to his obituary.

Thank you both for expressed condolences. Jim retired January 31st. 2020 and the NEXT Day (for real) was diagnosed with bladder /kidney CA . He hung on on for 14 months. As we know, he was a fine chess player, birder/hiker and exceptional pool player. We met as Basketball comrades in our younger days. Not one for sentimental doings, he gallantly donated his body to science. He leaves behind a wife and grown son. I will miss him.

Thank you very much for sharing more information about Jim. When I get a chance I will share more thoughts about what I found out about him in our chats. He is greatly missed. Condolences to you on the passing of your dear friend.
